Racist? Well... Telling lies and then saying that the media isn't reporting said lies because they're racist is a bit racist, yeah.
Two different airplanes are pictured, the top one wasn't involved in an accident, the lower Etihad markings was.
There were Abu Dhabi Air Technologies employees aboard, but the accident occurred at Airbus headquarters in a testing pen.
The accident was not the fault of the ADAT employees, as it was an Airbus employee in control of the plane at the time.
What happened: The engine runup to full power was intentional. It was a test of the brakes, which should have been able to handle the strain.
According to the flight recorder, the brake pedal was engaged and the parking brake disengaged (part of the test). Following was a rapid loss of brake pressure while the brake pedal remained engaged. The plane accelerated forward. An ADAT engineer told the Airbus employee that the plane was moving. The airbus employee attempted to reengage the brakes, but they failed. He attempted to turn the plane to avoid a head on collision (cutting engine power would have been insufficient, the plane would have still rolled into the barricade - the plane had to be turned before engine power was cut) but the steering also failed.
There was no media blackout. It was a pretty big story in France, and politicians tried to blame ADAT for the accident.
Airbus eventually took responsibility, as both the brakes and steering of the plane failed to respond normally during the test, it only Airbus employees could have removed the chocks from the wheels, and it was an Airbus employee in control of the plane.
If it was a christian or american group that had done this, nobody would have actually cared to defend them, because it's FUN to make fun of christians and americans. It's also politically correct. Heaven forbid that the world at some point in history actually have equal treatment.
